October

October's here and, starting today, RetroSynth will be posting three horror synth videos on their YouTube channel. Artists featured will be, to just mention a few, Perturbator, Carpenter Brut, Cineploit label mates Zoltan and Videogram. Check out their YouTube channel here and make sure to give their official Facebook page a like here.

Haddonfield, New Jersey's radio show Baron's Crypt aired some choice Videogram cuts in their recent show focusing on horror features released in 2016. Other acts include Misfits' own Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein! The show airs on Fridays at 6:30 PM Eastern, but you can stream it here. Check them out on their official Facebook page here.

In other news I'm pretty thrilled to share that Vestra Pictures just announced that their coming documentary VHS Lives will be released on both limited-edition VHS and DVD this year! They also announced that they have secured a distributor for this documentary and that it will see a release on DVD and VOD in early 2017.

A fun look into the collector scene and other things VHS, the documentary features interviews with Troma's Lloyd Kaufman, director Jörg Buttgereit, Thomas Hodge aka The Dude Designs, and me, talking mainly about Videogram and how VHS left its mark on me and my music.

Make sure to give them a like on their Facebook page here and you'll find more info via their IMDB page here.

Two Headed Dog!

As Cineploit announced it on their Facebook page earlier today, I'm pretty stoked to announce that people in the U.S. can get their Videogram records via Two Headed Dog. The store is located in California, but also run an online mail order operation shipping all over the U.S. Check it out here and give their Facebook page a like here.

For those in Europe I'm happy to announce that One Way Static added my Gladiatori dell'Apocalisse 12" EP to their store. You can order yours for 20 Euro, plus postage, here. As always, you'll find a complete list of stores, distributors and mailorders carrying my records in the Stores section of this website and on my Facebook page here.

In other news, it was really cool seeing The John Carpenter Appreciation Society sharing my photos from John Carpenter's retrospective show at Slagthuset, Malmö this past weekend. Check it out here.

John Carpenter in Sweden, August 31st

Yesterday I had the honor and privilege of attending John Carpenter's live retrospective show at Slagthuset in Malmö, Sweden. Words can't really describe the experience, but it was nothing short of amazing. Managed to snap some photos of the occasion, so head on over to my official Facebook page to check them out. Cheers!
